I decided to make things a little more interesting by portraying facebook as a physical place, that way it's not just me on my phone when talking about missionary work on facebook.

As I mentioned earlier, Facebook is the only social media site all missionaries in the UOM have access to. Since the pandemic drastically reduces the effectiveness of MTAs with church members (most / all activities to invite friends to are not happening), the mission leadership expects us to be finding more success through interactions on Facebook.

However, it's not as easy as you might expect. In addition to striving to avoid leisurely doomscrolling, we have to find a balance between sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and having ordinary interactions that people want to engage with.

"We love Jesus!" "Talk with us! We wanna be your friends!"
(Darn Mormons) (Weird brainwashed salesmen...)

"Let's try the 'flirt to convert' strategy!"
