Today, there was a transfer outside of the regular mission transfer schedule, since the pandemic has caused a massive number of American missionaries to be reassigned from foreign country missions to state-side missions. (I'll explain what transfers are later, but for now, just know that missionaries are sometimes moved around the mission area when a transfer happens.)

This transfer, Elder Yano was moved to another place in the mission area, and another Elder named Elder Lassy took his place. Unfortunately, some bad news followed him into our apartment - Soon after he arrived, we got word that some missionaries he came in contact with today just tested positive for Covid, meaning Elder Lassy might be infected...
