I always enjoyed the opportunity to draw the floor layouts of the apartments I lived in. That was strangely therapeutic.

Here's the original page, the contents of which I promise I will find place for in future pages.

Transcript:

The apartment currently houses two missionary companionships - us and a pair of Spanish-speaking missionaries: Elder Soares & Elder Yano. The landlord named Tahoe lives in the basement. He's not actively participating in the gospel right now, but he likes the missionaries enough to lease the top half of his house to the church for us to live in.

The apartment is also a block away from a large cemetery we walk by whenever we go to and from the meetinghouse for our area.

("It looks like a nice place we could occasionally take a walk around in.", "Yeah, but then rumors would arise that we missionaries are communing with the dead.")
